The second theme of 2026 was based off a postcard series I created in 2022 alongside my wife. We created each of these birds in our own styles and then sent them off to family and friends for fun. It was one of my favorite months of creating in all my years as an artist.

I have a special place in my heart for birds as they always make me think of my Grams and Dad. Birds have their quirks, but they’re a very forgiving creature to draw and, as with all of nature, your lines are given a little more grace.
